One of the major changes to this year’s show day from past was the venue change. Previously held at MonteCasino, the event had drawn many large crowds of Ferrari enthusiasts and on lookers who admire the Ferrari brand. A change up for the annual Show Day saw over 70 Prancing Horses take to the lawns of venue, some of which include two Ferrari F40’s, F50 and 512BB to name a few.

All of the Ferrari’s showed and shined to their best show day conditions as they were being very strictly judged by the SEFAC Committee, one of which had our Scuderia Johannesburg – Service Advisor, Justin Gaarkeuken on the judging panel for the Concours d’Elegance.

The regulations for the Concours are extremely tight and cars are to be as close to original as possible, the basics ensuring that you have original paint colour, interior and even the spare wheel kits and service books. Prizes were awarded to various categories and winners walked away with experiences and gifts sponsored by Scuderia South Africa and partners of SEFAC.

The winners are as follows:

Gary Eckersley class of C3 Concours 1995 – 2003 model 360 Challenge Stradale.

As Scuderia South Africa, the team had a fantastic day at the event as it was an awesome experience to see our classiche models again and still in absolute pristine condition. As well as to hear them rev up and still sound incredibly strong is always a pleasant sound to hear.

The day went on from seeing these beautiful machines in all their glory, hearing them roar and win prizes to eventually taking a wonderful drive back home. An incredible event indeed.
