The Ferrari Team had the privilege of opening up the Kyalami Tack to their wonderful guests who were escorted to the pit lane for a variety of delicious starters, a coffee bar and fresh cold beverages before they could go out on track to set limits in their Prancing Horses. The scene was set, pure Rosso Corsa red, the historic Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit was eager to welcome every driver together with their powerful machines that were ready to leave the air filled with burnt tyres and racing fuel.
Our COO, Jan Ungerer gave a vote of thanks to all clients attending and thanked them for joining us on this historic day and wished everyone well on our annual track day. Our National Marketing Manager, Chanelle Zackey, then followed up and spoke about the annual track day and wished everyone a wonderful day on track and introduced the instructor.
As an introduction from the instructor, he was here to talk about safety on the race track, explain what the different coloured flags meant, rules of the track, choosing the optimal lines and to instruct all new owners who were going to take to the track on the day to exercise maximum safety when lapping fast and hard.
Post instructions and formalities were over drivers were eager to gear up and take to the track in an incredible formation down the pit lane waiting for the flags to go down and roar through pass the crowd. After a good few laps around the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit guests were greeted to a beautiful array of lunch served in the pit lane which allowed clients to get a comfortable view of the track as well as their beautiful cars which were ready to go out for another session of fast laps!
Many drivers and spectators were greeted by wonderful views of the current range which consisted of the beautiful 488 GTB, 488 Spider, the visceral 812 Superfast, and some powerful special editions such as the 458 Speciale,458 Speciale Aperta, the 360 Challenge Stradale and some breath-taking classics shining in their ultimate pristine condition. As drivers took to the track to end off their fun filled day with the Scuderia Ferrari team, they embraced the track with a truly mesmerizing view and sound of the magnificent abilities of the Cavallino Rampante in its desired and ultimate environment.
